Before you start
- Have access to your website editor.
- Know where your Reservations or Book Now page lives.
- Have the hosted booking page ready, or be prepared to test the embedded preview before publishing your website change.
Hosted page or embedded widget
The hosted booking page is a normal CampGrid link. The embedded widget places the same booking flow inside your website.
Use both if it helps: embed on your website, then drop the hosted link into Instagram, Facebook, Google Business Profile, QR codes, emails, and quick staff replies.
Install the snippet
Most website builders call this a custom HTML, code, or embed block.
Steps
- 1Open the property and choose Website Embed.
- 2Copy the full snippet, not just the URL.
- 3Open your website editor.
- 4Add a custom HTML or embed block to the booking page.
- 5Paste the snippet.
- 6Publish the website page.
- 7Open the public website page on desktop and phone.
If the embed is too short or clipped
The snippet is designed to resize as guests move through the flow. Some site builders wrap embeds in fixed-height containers, which can prevent resizing.
If guests have to scroll inside a tiny window, increase the embed block height or remove the fixed-height wrapper in your site builder. Keep the hosted booking link available while you troubleshoot.
Quality check
Before sending traffic to the embedded page, test it like a guest.
Check
- The map is readable on mobile.
- Date inputs are usable on mobile.
- The checkout or request panel is not cut off.
- The website header does not cover CampGrid content.
- The hosted link still works as a fallback.
