Best for

  • New property setup

Before you start

  • Use the public property name guests already know.
  • Decide the short URL slug before you share links.
  • Confirm the timezone where the property operates.

What these fields control

The Details step creates the property identity used across owner setup, public booking pages, guest emails, reporting, and date-sensitive rules.

The public name and slug are visible to guests. Address and timezone also matter operationally, because availability, stay dates, check-out timing, guest check-out, reminders, and cancellation cutoffs need to match the property location.

Fill the required details

Treat this as the property identity record.

Steps

  1. 1Enter the public property name.
  2. 2Choose a public slug using lowercase letters, numbers, and hyphens.
  3. 3Enter the physical address guests should use for planning.
  4. 4Use a two-letter country code such as US.
  5. 5Set the property timezone, for example America/New_York.
  6. 6Save, then use Continue or the section nav to move to Branding, Map, or another setup section.

Slug changes after launch

The slug controls the hosted booking URL. Changing it after launch is allowed, but any old links you already shared will need to be updated.

Update your website, social profiles, QR codes, email templates, and any saved staff documents that contain the old URL.

Tips

  • Keep slugs short and readable.
  • Avoid season names or year numbers unless the property itself changes yearly.
  • If guests already know your campground acronym, use it only if it is clear outside your team.

Quality check

Before moving on, make sure the property record can stand on its own.

Check

  • The name matches your website and signage.
  • The slug is easy to read over the phone.
  • The address preview is not missing city, state, or postal code.
  • The timezone matches the property, not the owner or developer.
  • The details read cleanly in guest-facing emails and reports.
